"We will no longer sit by and watch our children die"

On the streets of Baltimore there is a plague that is growing in our neighborhoods and communities and ultimately through our own front doors.  How do we protect ourselves and our children against a force so powerful?  Where does our power as concerned citizens come from and how do we exercise that power?

Baltimore Mothers Against Killing believes our power comes from faith in God and each other as human beings.  We will exercise that power by being conscientious in taking responsibility for what goes on behind our own doors under our own roofs.  We will pass this power on to our own children, our brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and cousins by teaching them superior values at a very young age. We will spread this message on to our neighbor’s families as well. We will teach our children about the dangers and consequences of violent behavior. We will plant the seeds of peace and good will toward our fellow man from babies to adolescence to adulthood and beyond.
